Fine craftsmanship and the best materials are a “MUST” when designing and handmaking our unique items. Each handmade item usually takes days to make. 

At age 7, I began sewing on my grandmother’s treadle sewing machine, her answer to keep me “busy and out of trouble.” I didn’t realize then that she was a 4-H leader nor could I have predicted how I would use her shared skills in the coming decades.

My small business, now 10 years old, targets quality from personal experience. Continuing to sew through childhood, my college courses included pattern design, tailoring, clothing history and textile design. Achieving special color blends and effects with vibrant colors uses varied fabric techniques. I choose quality fabrics, often hand-painting, batiking, dyeing or marbleizing each piece. Some fabrics are hand-quilted and appliqued. No two are alike. Most purses and bags are embedded with crystals, beadwork, antique buttons, vintage or artist-made ceramic pins
